Geisinger Commonwealth’s Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program is designed to enhance the academic credentials of those seeking to apply to medical and health professions schools and those who are interested in entering the professional fields of public health, scientific research, education or biomedical technology.

  • 36 credit graduate program taught by highly qualified educators
  • Exposure to the same technologies and resources available to our MD students
  • Extensive professional development opportunities including workshops on medical school interviewing and career exploration and preparation
  • Optional MCAT, DAT, or GRE preparation course
  • Based on meeting established criteria, current MBS students and graduates of the program will be guaranteed an interview for the MD program
