Parking

Safe, convenient parking is plentiful in downtown Scranton with several city parking garages located throughout the city. If staying at a downtown hotel, parking is located on site or in a nearby garage; hotel staff can direct you to the closest and most cost effective option. Your hotel may also provide free shuttle transportation to Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine to and from your interview.

In addition to parking in the hospital garage, metered and/or street parking is also available. In the summer months, street parking is abundant, however, in the fall and spring street parking is a little harder to find when all local colleges are in session.

Students invited to interview for the MD or MBS program are welcome to park in Lot F, also known as Gibson Street Parking Lot. It is found at the corner of East Gibson Street and North Washington Avenue.
