About Friends of the Poor

Friends of the Poor, based in Scranton, is a non-profit organization that seeks to ease the burden of living in poverty and enhance the quality of life for all who live in the low income community. The ministry has served the needs of residents in the greater Scranton area for more than 25 years and is an outreach ministry of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
